The Catholic Church excommunicated Adolf Hitler for his crimes against humanity before WWII even started. If we really believe an unborn child is a living human being with a soul, then the punishment should be the same for Catholic politicians as it was for Adolf Hitler. Abortion is NOT compatible with Catholicism and politicians who support it should be Excommunicated. Failure to do anything at all is leading Catholics to believe that ALL of the Church's teachings are "optional" and we both know how dangerous that is. I wrote about this on my own blog here.
