This Sunday is Respect Life Sunday in the Catholic Church. I know that in most Dioceses individual parishes will be highlighting Respect Life but in some parts of the country there will be Diocesan wide events to attend.

Click on the above map and it will bring you to the page at the USCCB website that lists and links to Diocesan Pro-Life Offices across the country so you can find out what events will be taking place in your area.

A few examples of Diocesan events around the country:

The Archdiocese of Boston presents: “Walk as Children of Light” Ephesians 5: 8b
10:00 am YOUTH RALLY with Fr. Stan Fortuna
11:30 am MASS with Cardinal Sean O’Malley
Then join us in supporting MCFL in their Annual Respect Life Walk

The Archdiocese of New York:

There will also be a Helpers of God’s Precious infants rosary prayer vigil on  Oct 4th beginning with Mass at Old St. Patrick’s Cathedral at 8:00 a. m. and then rosary procession to Planned Parenthood on Mott and Bleeker St.

There is also going to be an exciting new post-abortion outreach launched in NYC in October – click here for more information.

Santa Maria CA. – Regional Mass for the Unborn – The Regional Respect Life Office, and the staff of St. Louis de Montfort, 5075 Harp Road, Santa Maria, CA. hold this special liturgy at 9:30 a.m., which is conducted annually during October Respect Life Month. Contact the church at 805-937-4555 for more information. Each parish is also urged to observe Respect Life Month during October with special attention to the teachings of the Church regarding the sanctity of life and the responsibility of all Catholics to protect the most vulnerable, with special attention given to the Unborn. www.sldm.org

You will notice that on the New York Archdiocesan website they mention Life Chains around the state. This Sunday, October 5 there will be Life Chains all over the country. This is their 21st year:
